The Oxygen Basketball Club is competitive club, founded in October 1953 by basketball coach John Lee.
This award recognizes the player with the highest percentage of overall improvement in all games and competitions.
In April 1962, Oxygen Club hosted one of the largest basketball camp ever to be held at the local school or college level.
Comprehensive training programmes began with our Junior Squads right through to Performance squads.
Megan is the go to person at her association. She is across finances, court hire, refs, team sheets, events and lets not forget the up and coming construction of the two new courts council is building next year. Megan will take a team to the conference because her and her team plan to be across all 6 conference segments.
John is employed in local government. His position requires him to be “in the know” when it comes to community sport and recreational facilities. John is proactive when it comes to professional development and expanding his network.
Stephen is an international delegate who is flying into Australia to attend the conference. He will be looking to meet and learn from industry leaders and innovators in basketball management, technology, facility construction and basketball coaching.
Mary is an educator that believes that sport science is fun. She is looking forward to being with her peers as she navigates her way through the conference trying not to miss a thing. She will of course take what she learns and share it with her students and colleagues.
Clara is a software engineer who works in the sporting sector. Her aim is to learn about the latest software applications on the international market. She will be looking to meet her peers and potential leads as she navigate through the convention with access to the trade show and the international tournament.
Phillip is a BIG V youth league coach who is looking forward to everything that this conference has to offer including the international speakers for the coaching segment of the conference. He is also required by his employer to look in at the inclusion and diversity segement to ensure that he and his association are compliant with the national regulations.
Christina is a mother who is involved in her son’s future as a basketball player. She will be attending all the sessions on college recruitment. She will also be across the coaching streams and anything to do with athlete development. She will be attending both the trade show and the tournament.
Deng has started his own basketball services business to junior basketball players. He is looking forward to hearing specialist coaches speak about player development. He is also interested in the sports management and sports tech breakout sessions on marketing and website development.
