FORMAT
The Goal: To provide games of high intensity and competition to push players to their highest potential. Teams of similar standards playing solid high octane basketball that will be streamed back into the United States and around the world for purposes of recruitment and scouting.
Tournament Format
Pool Construct:
- Four – Six Pools
- Every pool to be highlighted by a touring International team
- Pools to be constructed equitably, based on tournament organisers selection
- Pools may include more than one international team
- Pools to be made up of four to five teams
Pool Play:
- All teams are to play each other
- Games played on Friday afternoon, Saturday and Sunday of the tournament
- Finals for top teams in each pool
- Finals are crossovers
- Consolation Finals to be played against other pool teams. i.e 3 plays 3 in other pool

International Team Eligibility:
- USA Select teams with more than two nationally ranked players on roster
- Select Teams from New Zealand
- Select Teams from Europe / kS11
- Branded / Sponsored Teams
Local Team Eligibility
- AIS/COE/NBA Global Teams.
- State Development Select Teams
- National Development Select Teams
- High level locally based Select teams

TEAM ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
International Team Eligibility:
- High level teams that may not fit into the criteria of Division 1.
Individual Player Tournament Entry
- You may be an individual that has yet to be identified by the state or national level teams. You will however be required to meet the extremely high standard of our specialist coaches who will be looking for athleticism, skill and Basketbal IQ.
- Athletes who wish to play in the Tournament but are not part of a team will register for trials and formation of teams will occur in the lead up to the tournament.
- Registration will open on the 20th Feb
- Registration will close on the 10th March
TOURNAMENT DETAILS
The Fair Dunkem Championships will invite and select top teams with top prospects from around the world to compete in this unique event.
Fair Dunkem’s mission is to create an event that assists the youth of Australian and Pacific based countries to compete against the best basketballers from around the world. The event is designed to enable cost effective ways for locally based players to be scouted globally for opportunities in athletic, academic and professional pathways.
$175 per player - minimum of 8 players per team
