The Fair Dunkem Club Championships will mark a new chapter in junior elite competition in Australia with Australia’s state and national level teams competing against other international state and national teams, including some of America’s top AAU club teams. The American AAU teams are select entry teams, with basketball juniors being handpicked on the basis of talent. These “Select” teams consist of America’s next generation of collegiate stars and professionals. This strategic move by Australia Basketball’s regulatory bodies will bring a new era of competition to our doorstep.
