1 CONVENTION - 3 EVENTS

AUSPAC Basketball Convention is at the heart of Australian Basketball Week 2020.  It was determined by Australia’s sport and basketball regulatory bodies that the AUSPAC Basketball Convention would host 3 specific events:

  1. The Fair Dunkem Club Championships
  2. The Basketball Exposition / Trade Show
  3. The Basketball Conference

These events strategically excompass all the necessary categories that are required to stimulate:

  1. Junior development / International advancement
  2. Prop up local business / generate greater international interest in Australian sport / basketball industry
  3. Generate a higher standard of practice through direct knowledge sharing

This is a new era for Basketball and sport in Australia and we are global players with a clear and unified direction!!

FAIR DUNKEM CLUB CHAMPIONSHIPS

The Fair Dunkem Club Championships will mark a new chapter in junior elite competition in Australia with Australia’s state and national level teams competing against other international state and national teams, including some of America’s top AAU club teams.  The American AAU teams are select entry teams, with basketball juniors being handpicked on the basis of talent. These “Select” teams consist of America’s next generation of collegiate stars and professionals.  This strategic move by Australia  Basketball’s regulatory bodies will bring a new era of competition to our doorstep.

BASKETBALL EXPO / TRADE SHOW

Australia is a sporting nation with many of our passionate and talented citizens opting to pursue business in the sporting / basketball sector.  This Convention is an opportunity for the Australia’s regulatory bodies to bring industry to our people.  With over 2000 people expected at the Fair Dunkem Club Championships and the Basketball Conference, our sporting sector will be provided with a direct connection to National & International Influencers and Consumers.  With over 2000 hot leads Australia suppliers will have their best shot at success on a national and global stage.

The booths will consist of 8 different basketball related industries, with only a select number in each. Australian Basketball Week / AUSPAC Basketball will use the trade show to showcase the best of Australian industry; allowing specialised traders who add value to Australian basketball to contribute. The selected industries include:
Sports Technology : This may include, software applications, hardware equipment, wearables, website / hosting solutions.
Equipment: This may include training aides, balls, rings and other sports equipment.
Training: This may be a basketball development company, a school basketball academy or a strength and conditioning specialist etc
Construction: This may be a company who does sports floors, seating, or anything to do with the construction and maintenance of a sporting facility
Health: This a company who provides medicine or health services and or products. A sports physio, a psychologist or a supplements supplier
Sports Services: This may include sports marketing, communications, sports insurance, travel etc.
Apparel / Sporting Goods: This may include apparel, uniforms, shoes, custom fan gear, accessories, trophies etc
